Description
Material of Construction • Side plates: Fully kilned steel plates • Cross members: Rectangular hollow sections (cold formed) • Corrosion resistance: Rubber lagging on cross members • Body painted using structural grade epoxies. No crevices - thereby preventing accumulation moisture • Wear resistance: The feed and discharge lips & the wear prone areas are lined using Special compounds of reinforced rubber Salient Features Horizontal linear motion screens operate on high forces owing to the flat bed design of screen. The screens are considered highly efficient as it offers maximum probability for material passage through openings and also owing to high retention time of material over the screen. • No welding on the side wall plates. Fully bolted structure. • Welding on cross members are stress relieved prior to assembly. • Wear and corrosion lining are standard to all equipments. • Counterweights are guarded for operator safety. • Screening deck can be tensioned from the sides with ease and can be replaced/removed without much effort. • Machine painted using special corrosion resistant paints for longer life. Applications The Horizontal screens finds itself suitable for Dewatering and washing application where material retention time over the screen is critical to the performance of the screen. Horizontal screens are also used for difficult to screen material as it works on high G-forces and allows maximum material to pass through openings as compared to a circular motion screen. Capacities The Horizontal linear motion screens are available in single and double deck configurations with capacities ranging from 100 tph to 300 tph each installation. Drive The screens have a geared mechanism. The mechanism has adjustable counterweights and the bearings are oil lubricated. The mechanisms can be either belt or direct driven using a standard induction motor. Consumption of power is at least 20% lower than various other brands owing to superior design of vibrating mechanisms.
