FortiGate-3950B and BreakingPoint Performance Test (Video)
Fortinet conducted performance testing on the FortiGate-3950B, using the BreakingPoint Elite chassis. The test results showed 120 Gbps of firewall performance for large packet (1518 byte) traffic, 114 Gbps with small (64 byte) packets, and 114 Gbps of real world web traffic. Also, the FortiGate-3950B is able to deliver over 170 million packet per second (Mpps) and sub 10 microsecond latency. The demonstration showed incredible performance in such a small platform.
